The Parish Finance Council is a consultative body that helps the pastor to act justly and prudently in the administration of the temporal goods. The responsibility of the Parish Finance Council is formation of financial policies – including the devising and regular monitoring of a parish budget, policies for the proper maintenance of building and grounds of the parish, long-range financial planning, preparation of the annual financial report and civil law pertaining to the administration of the temporal goods of the parish.
The Council is comprised of members of the parish who meet monthly. The Finance Council works with parish leadership in the administration of parish assets in order to accomplish the vision and mission of Our Lady of Peace. The Pastor appoints members to the Finance Council.
Our Lady of Peace is a parish that believes in Jesus, a parish that loves God and people.
